To A Wild Rose

Welcome to my blog. Today I am sharing a card using To A Wild Rose. I really love these colors together and hope you do as well. I used a basic card base 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" in Merry Merlot. The second layer is Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 5 1/4 x 4". The third layer is Whisper White cut at 5" x 3 3/4" ran through the Big Shot with the Basket Weave 3D embossing folder. I stamped the rose outline in Tuxedo black memento ink. To fill in the color of the rose I used Rococo Rose ink. For the dimension of the flower I added Merry Merlot ink. I stamped the leaves outline in Mossy Meadow ink and filled it in with Old Olive ink. Using the Sprig punch I punched out Merry Merlot cardstock and used the Leaf Punch to punch out Mossy Meadow leaves. I did separate the leaves from each other. I cut out the label with the big shot and sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. The sentiment is stamped with Soft Suede ink as well. Country Club Suite Fun Fold

Welcome to Rhonda's Creative Corner. Today we are using the Clubhouse Suite to create this fun fold Birthday card.  Don't forget to hit the follow button so you don't miss any tutorials. I do break EVERYTHING down so if you are a new stamper you have complete instructions.

I would recommend doing the middle of the card first. Do not put a score line down the middle of your base card until after you have stamped the trees.

The base of the card is made in Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 5 1/2 " x 4 1/4".  The first layer of Country Club Designer Series Paper is 5 1/4" x  4".  Using the backside of the DSP I cut a strip at 4 1/4 x 1 1/2" and tied a piece of Poppy Parade bakers twine around it.  I stamped the golf ball and sentiment on scrap Whisper White cardstock. I added Crushed Curry cardstock cut out with the layering circle die. I used the Stampin' Blends to color the golf ball, tee, and grass. I adhered the Crushed Curry cardstock with a stampin' dimensionals. I glued the golf ball and sentiment with multipurpose glue.

For the inside of the card I stamped the trees from Winter Woods in the middle of the Crumb Cake card base. I cut a piece of the Country Club DSP at 8 1/4" x 5 1/4" and scored it at 2 1/8" x 4 1/8" 6 1/8".   I used the second to the largest oval and lined my DSP up with the 4 1/8" score line and cut it out of the DSP. Using the largest and second largest oval I cut out the frame with Garden Green cardstock.  I adhered the frame with multipurpose glue. The folds are done with the sides in a valley fold and the middle with a mountain fold.  I glued down both of the sides with multipurpose glue. I stamped the golfer with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored him with my Stampin' Blends. I cut out an extra golfer to adhere to the back of the colored image so when you open the card you aren't able to see the bleeding from the Stampin' Blends on the back side. I placed the golfer making sure that he was positioned so that he was not on the score lines. I used multipurpose glue on his head, golf club, and grass. I stamped the sentiment twice on Whisper White cardstock using Night of Navy ink. I used the label banner to cut out Greatest Guy. For the second stamped image I used the stitched rectangle die to cut out the entire sentiment. I used a stampin' dimensional to pop up greatest guy label onto the complete sentiment. I used multipurpose glue to adhere the sentiment in the corner.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. It is a really fun and easy fold to do. I hope you give it a try. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. As always Happy Crafting.
